Our 11th Annual Fundraising Lobster Take-Out Dinner was held on Sunday August 4th, 2024 and was absolutely another huge success!! THANK YOU!!! It was another sold-out dinner event for us, selling 700 plates again this year. We couldn’t be happier about how this great fundraising event went and we were extremely thrilled to hear from you all that it was a super tasty, enjoyable meal too!

This event is the biggest fundraiser for our organization each year with all dinner proceeds made by the Souris and Area Branch of the PEI Wildlife Federation directed towards environmental and conservation initiatives in our Eastern Kings communities. These significant initiatives consist of ongoing stream habitat and connectivity restoration work in over 150 kilometers of local watersheds, Atlantic salmon habitat and population conservation efforts in our northeastern rivers, local research and monitoring projects, agri-environmental projects, education and outreach, shoreline and local fishing spot garbage clean-ups, site maintenance of our Legacy Park for past conservation and environmental loved ones, our winter Ring-necked pheasant feeding program, as well as many other important activities happening in our management area right now.

Thank you to everyone who supported our annual fundraising dinner event!
